Up for sale here is a shirt from the Comme des Garcons Homme Plus line. Comme des Garcons is one of Japan’s original avant-garde labels, along with Issey Miyake and Yohji Yamamoto, and arguably the best-known. At this point they’ve really cemented their reputation and have a whole universe of sub labels including Homme, Homme Plus, Junya Watanabe, Play, Black, CDG, etc. The Homme Plus line is CDG’s primary men’s collection. It has been active since the beginning, designed by label founder Rei Kawakubo.
Design here is pretty understated. This is a solid gray tee, done in typically high quality CDG execution. Front is blank, while the rear has a somewhat subtle CDG Homme Plus logo toward the top. CDG’s design sensibilities are some of the best out there, and this shirt certainly does not disappoint with its quirky and creative design.
Size is unlabeled and fits like a standard small in my opinion. I measure the chest at 18.5”, shoulders at 18” and length at 25”. The shirt comes in lightly used, very good shape. The interior materials tag has worn away, but otherwise no holes, tears or stains.
Shipping from Japan to anywhere will be $24.
