Dior Homme indigo dyed denim jeans, made in Italy, size 32

$59.99

Pair of pants here from the Dior Homme label. Dior Homme was at one of the pinnacles of fashion during Hedi Slimane’s influential run in the early 2000s and they have not really left the consciousness since. Since Slimane Kris Van Asche and Kim Jones have since taken over design duties, and while each have their particular sensibilities and fan bases, there is little denying that Dior Homme uses some of the best materials out there and consistently produces at a very high level of quality.

I am not sure of the season for these pants, but this is definitely a vintage pair from the early 2010’s or so, if not a bit earlier. There is also no debating the quality. Fabric here is 100% cotton coming in a woven denim. It has been indigo dyed a nice shade of blue with just a bit of fading on the knees. Rear has the signature pocket darts, interior has the leather Dior tag, and the rear right belt loop has another metal Dior tag.

My understanding is that during this era Dior was producing jeans in both Italy and Japan, where the Japanese jeans were selvedge while the Italian jeans were not. This is a pretty uniform denim, one that will continue to pleasantly fade and develop with wear, in a pretty straight leg, non-super slim fit. As with anything Dior you can be sure the retail price on these pants was ridiculously expensive, but get them here at the cheapest price around.

Size is labeled a 32 and fits true. I measure the waist at 32”, inseam at 30”, rise at 10.5” and leg opening at 8.25”. The pants come in used but good shape. There is some minor wear, but no holes, tears or stains. Made in Italy.

Shipping from Japan to anywhere will be $30.
