Graph Zero indigo striped cotton pullover shirt, size L (fits M/L)

$39.99

Up for sale here is an shirt from the Graph Zero label. Graph Zero is another one of those strongly vintage inspired Japanese labels located in Kojima area of central Japan, home to Japan’s denim industry. Graph Zero are somewhat unique in that they have their own factory, and as such are able to gather quite a bit of expertise and keep things pretty vertically integrated. They have been going since 2004 and are still on the smaller side of things, where they only seem to have distribution to a handful of shops in Asia outside of Japan.

With all that said, Graph Zero produce some really interesting and cool pieces. This is a sample of one of their more recent releases from what I gather, where as far as I can tell this is an unproduced take on their “marine overshirt” silhouette. Graph Zero’s marine overshirt is more commonly produced in denim (although is now sold out). This version is actually quite a bit more interesting – they use a knit stripe pattern throughout, all done in different shades of indigo blue. The material is quite a bit more intricate than their normally produced marine overshirt, with a nicely contrasting button placket done in a different striped pattern but using the same fabric.

Details include metal “US army” stamped buttons down the front, two side pockets, a chest pocket, and non-buttoned sleeves that you can easily roll up if you prefer. You have a very interesting piece here, indigo dyed and very well built. You definitely will not find anything quite like this elsewhere. Get it here at a fraction of the retail price.

Size is labeled a large, fitting between a medium and a large well. I measure the chest at 21”, shoulders at 19”, length at 26” in front and 27” in back, and sleeves at 25” from the cuff. The shirt comes in lightly used, excellent shape with no holes, tears, stains or visible fading of the indigo. Made in Japan.

Shipping from Japan to anywhere will be $24.
