Kestin nigel cabourn corduroy zip up collarless jacket, size M

$39.99

For sale here is a corduroy jacket from Scottish label Kestin. Kestin is the namesake of designer Kestin Hare, a former designer at Nigel Cabourn. The label aims for a mix of casual influences, including vintage military, workwear, sports and outdoors styles, all very functional, high in quality and filtered through Hare’s particular vision.

This is a zip-up midweight jacket coming in a green cotton corduroy fabric. This is a high whale cord, not super heavy duty but enough to protect against the elements. Jacket construction is such that it can easily work as an outer or a lid layer under a coat in really bad weather. The collarless design, large patch pockets and double zip down the front keep things interesting a somewhat apart from the norm, but at the same time it is a low fuss piece, easily worn and easily integrated into a wide variety of fits.

Kestin is one of those labels that flies largely under the radar, especially outside of the UK, but are well worth checking out. These pieces retailed for about 200 pounds, but get it here much more reasonably.

Size is labeled a medium and fits somewhat relaxed. I measure the chest at 22”, shoulders at 18”, length at 28” and sleeves at 25.5” from the shoulder. The jacket comes in lightly used, very good shape with no holes, tears or stains. Made in Portugal.

Shipping from Japan to anywhere will be $30.
