Mister Freedom x sugar cane Ranchero shirt, made in Japan, size L, $360 rrp

$64.99 / Sold Out

For sale here is a shirt from Mister Freedom, done in collaboration as usual with Japanese label Sugar Cane. This model is called the Ranchero shirt, a part of their “viva la revolucion” collection inspired by early western wear and elevated as usual with Mister Freedom’s unique design sensibility.

Fabric here is a 60% linen, 40% cotton blend making this an ideal light weight piece. The linen content is not overpowering, where the cotton balances it out and helps to avoid the heavy wrinkling linen is known for. The fabric itself is really excellent and well worth the purchase price alone, as the weave incorporates indigo dye in the blue sections and should pleasantly fade and develop with wear. Other details include horn buttons throughout, a single piece cut away collar, selvedge side gussets with chainstitch runoff, flat felled seams throughout and indigo dyed cotton lining the inside of the button placket.

As you can probably guess, there is a lot going on here, but it all combines into a nice piece with functional, quality details that’s easy on the eyes. Mister Freedom never comes cheap at retail, and this shirt retails at $360 from Mister Freedom. Get it here at a better price.
