Salvatore Ferragamo cotton summer shirt, made in Italy, size M (fits loose)

$49.99 / Sold Out

For sale here is a shirt from the Salvatore Ferragamo label. Ferragamo is well known as an Italian luxury label operating in the higher echelons of fashion and charging very high retail prices. Fabrics and designs are excellent, often incorporating a classic Italian sensibility with a more modern twist.

This is a more recent Ferragamo piece, a summer weight shirt coming in 100% cotton. This is one of those high quality knits where you can see the individual fabrics woven together on close inspection. I also assume they are using a long staple cotton in this case – they are light in weight but also quite strong, a staple of higher end labels with a pretty unique feel to them.

The shirt has a plaid motif throughout, although the chest area has a solid blue line going across the front and back which nicely breaks up the design. Buttons are all shell and the hem is flat, allowing the shirt to be worn tucked or untucked. This is one of those pieces that really makes no sacrifices when it comes to quality. All materials are top notch, everything is very well considered in terms of design, and the tailoring is excellent. These pieces retail at about $300, but get it here much more reasonably.

Size is labeled a medium and fits relaxed where this could also work for a large. I measure the chest at 23” / 58cm, shoulders at 20” / 51cm, and length at 29” / 74cm in front and 30” / 77cm in back. The shirt comes in lightly used, very good shape with no holes, tears or stains. Made in Italy.

Shipping from Japan to anywhere will be $24.
