Warehouse Japan indigo dyed chambray shirt, size M

$34.99

Available here is a denim chambray shirt from Japanese label Warehouse. If you haven’t yet heard of Warehouse and you are into denim, chances are you are familiar with some of their work. Aside from their eponymous label, they also produce several lines including Heller’s Cafe, Duck Digger, Dubbleworks and Copper King, and have collaborated with a wide range of labels including Nigo’s Human Made line, Evisu and even J. Crew. They’re commonly considered to be one of the top vintage-inspired manufacturers in Japan and in the world. Warehouse often keeps their designs fairly simple, opting for straightforward, mature styling that favors the quality of the craftsmanship over flashy design.

So what we’ve got here is an indigo-dyed chambray shirt in cotton. It is a standard weight shirt, the kind of thing that will go with pretty much everything and is timeless in design. These are modeled after 1960s-era “ivy” button down shirts, but works equally well today, and will look just as good another 60 years from now. These are classics for a reason and they are built to last.

Size is labeled a medium and fits true. I measure the chest at 22”, shoulders at 18”, length at 27.5” in front and 28.5” in back, both from the base of the neck, and sleeves at 23” from the shoulder. The shirt comes in lightly used, excellent shape with no holes, tears, or stains and no discernable fading of the indigo that I can see. Made in Japan.

Shipping from Japan to anywhere will be $24.
