Yakousei shop is a reference to a song by Yura Yura Teikoku (a great Japanese band), yakousei no ikimono sanbiki (夜行性の生き物三匹, roughly translated as "three nocturnal creatures"). I've been into music for a long time and thought it sounded better for a shop name than some kind of lame fashion reference.
But I do like clothes and I've been selling used clothes in various capacities for over 10 years now. Japan has a lot of great stuff to offer, although a lot of it is either hidden or largely inaccessible to people not living here. This shop is a sort of remedy to that, offering (mainly but not strictly) Japanese brands at a fraction of the retail price.
