For sale here is a shirt from the Battenwear label. Battenwear is similar to Engineered Garments and Monitaly in that they have a Japanese designer and are based in and produce exclusively in the United States. Also like Engineered Garments and Monitaly, Battenwear looks to vintage Americana for their design inspiration but adds their own unique take on top.
In this case we have a classic plaid shirt silhouette. This is a fairly light weight knit cotton with a nice uneven texture to it. Design is based on the western snap button shirt, but this is a pretty relaxed piece, highly comfortable and highly functional. Battenwear is one of those labels that always considers their designs from all angles. Their clothing is highly functional, and this shirt should cover you well throughout a variety of different weather conditions. Retail is about $250, but get it here much more reasonably.
Size is labeled a medium and fits a bit relaxed. I measure the chest at 21”, shoulders at 17.5”, length at 28” in front and 29” in back, both from the base of the neck, and sleeves at 25” from the shoulder. The shirt comes in lightly used, very good shape with no holes, tears, stains or visible signs of wear. Made in the USA.
