Up for sale here is a button down shirt from 45 rpm. This is classic in the best sense, with a nice plaid design that’s unobtrusive and can go with pretty much everything. At the same time, the tailoring and quality are excellent, something 45 rpm excels at. This particular shirt comes from 45 rpm’s “Umii” line, their loosely-inspired naval collection. Umii pieces come in the same excellent quality and at the same general price level as the 45 rpm main line.
Details include mother of pearl buttons, the bottom button hole going diagonally rather than vertically, and custom Umii button and band on the back of the collar. 45 rpm never comes cheap, and these shirts retailed at about $250 in Japan and around $350-$400 outside of Japan. Get it here much more reasonably.
Size is labeled a 5. 45 rpm is sometimes inconsistent in their sizing, but I would say this should fit a large or an extra large well. I measure the chest at 22” / 56cm, shoulders at 19.5” / 50cm, length at 28.5” / 73cm in front and 29.5” / 76cm in back, and sleeves at 24.5” / 62cm from the shoulder. The shirt comes in lightly used, excellent shape with no holes, tears or stains. Made in Japan.
