Blurhms is a somewhat newer Japanese label, a part of the movement toward streamlined, minimalistic design paired with a relaxed aesthetic. There are a number of labels in Japan promoting this look, including Aura Lee and A.Presse to name a few, and Blurhms fits in quite well with this grouping. Materials and construction are some of the highest quality you can get, while the design opts for the essentials, putting the fabric and tailoring at the forefront.
This is a long sleeved mock neck silhouette in brown. Mock neck here refers to the neck construction - it has a half roll, compared to the full roll of a turtleneck. Fabric is a medium weight, and with the mock neck it will keep your neck a bit warmer and makes for a nice contrast. Fit not quite as relaxed as some Blurhms, more straightforward, although this is still a very comfortable, effortless piece.
Size is unlabeled as far as I can tell, but fits a standard medium well. I measure the chest at 21” / 54cm, shoulders at 19” / 49cm, length at 25.5” / 65cm in front and 27” / 68.5cm in back, and sleeve at 24” / 60.5cm. The shirt comes in lightly used, very good shape with no holes, tears or stains. Made in Japan.
