Christophe Lemaire made in France button down shirt, size 2 (fits S/M)

$34.99

Up for sale here is a button down shirt by Christophe Lemaire. Lemaire has grown in notoriety in recent years, as he’s been at the helm of a few capsule collections from Uniqlo, taking the reins of their very well-received designer collaborations (along with the likes of Jil Sander, Jun Takahashi and Alexandre Plokhov among many others). The eponymous Christophe Lemaire label is arguably known more as a cult label, with a very strong attention to materials and details, a musical sensibility often incorporated, and being proudly made in France, at least for most of his earlier collections.

This shirt comes with a unique mix of influences, where I see a late 1960s type thing happening with the collar, while the hidden front button placket and somewhat trim silhouette point to a more modernist inspiration. In the end it’s something uniquely Lemaire I suppose.

As you can probably guess, early iterations of Lemaire’s main line were pretty hard to get even in Europe, and is ridiculously expensive at retail. There’s a reason he was tapped by Uniqlo, and this shirt is quality throughout in terms of materials, design and construction. Get it here at a fraction of the retail.

Size is labeled is a 2 and fits between a small and a medium, like a somewhat loose small or a slim medium. I measure the chest at 19”, shoulders at 17.5”, and length at 29” from the base of the neck. The shirt comes in lightly used, excellent shape with no holes, tears or stains. Made in France.

Shipping from Japan to anywhere will be $24.
