Freemans Sporting Club 2019ss knit cotton/linen shirt, made in USA, size M

$34.99 / Sold Out

For sale here is a button down shirt from Freemans Sporting Club. The Freemans Sporting Club label seems to be getting more exposure these days, being pretty firmly rooted in American and Japanese produced casual wear. Their designs go for the classics: indigo and tweed jackets, selvedge denim, gauze shirts, chinos and the like.

This shirt is FSC’s take on the classic summer oxford shirt. Material is a 55% cotton, 45% linen blend in a salmon/white striped pattern. Fabric blend is such that it is able to take advantage of the positive qualities of both cotton and linen: it is highly breathable and cooling to the touch like linen, yet at the same time not quite so prone to wrinkling as fully linen garments can be. Texture of the fabric is also really nice, where it is pleasantly uneven throughout. You can tell this is a woven fabric rather than something cheaply printed. Details include shell buttons throughout, side gussets with additional logo embroidery, and a label tag on the bottom left side. In all, the shirt has a very classic style and is executed at some of the highest levels. Every aspect is well considered and the quality is excellent. This particular piece comes from the spring-summer 2019 season as noted on the tag and is made in the US.

Size is labeled a medium and fits true. I measure the chest at 20” / 51cm, shoulders at 18” / 46cm, length at 29” / 74cm from the base of the neck, and sleeves at 25” / 64cm from the shoulder. The shirt comes in lightly used, very good shape with no holes, tears, stains or obvious signs of wear. Made in the USA.

Shipping from Japan to anywhere will be $24.
