Available here is a shirt from Japan’s Kapital label, a brand that produces a pretty wide range of clothing, going from traditional workwear inspired pieces to hippie chic to crazy indigo patchwork. Their quality is always excellent and they can definitely be creative in their designs and execution.
This is Kapital’s take on the classic graphic tee. Material is Kapital’s highly textured woven cotton, processed to give it a vintage, worn-in look. Front has a lip print, vaguely similar to the Rolling Stones’ logo, while the word “indigenous” is printed on the rear. While their designs are often tongue in cheek, no corners are ever cut with Kapital. Everything is built solid and made to last. Kapital also always produces in limited quantities, with pretty limited availability on many of their pieces outside of Japan. This is one of those very unique Kapital pieces that is now completely sold out. Get it here at the cheapest price around.
Size is labeled a 3, fitting a medium well. I measure the chest at 19.5” / 50cm, shoulders at 17” / 43cm, and length at 26.5” / 68cm. The shirt comes in lightly used, very good shape with no holes, tears or stains. There is a bit of wear on the neck but otherwise no issues. Made in Japan.
Shipping from Japan to everywhere will be $24.
