For sale here is a t-shirt from the Randy’s Garments label. Randy’s Garments is a somewhat newer label specializing in workwear that is made entirely in the USA. The designer, Brandon Portelli, used to work for the Nepenthes company and Engineered Garments, bringing their same made in USA ethos to a more workwear-oriented, higher quality production. All of Randy’s pieces are manufactured in New York’s garment district to the highest possible quality standards. This is unfortunately an increasingly uncommon thing these days, and Randy’s pieces come at a premium, but are well worth seeking out.
This is Randy’s “pocket tee”, coming in a 6 oz cotton in a high visibility green. For Randy’s their shirt length is a bit longer than a standard tee, allowing you to tuck or keep it untucked. Logo tag is added to the chest pocket and size and care info are stamped on the neckline.
Randy’s Garments is one of those smaller scale labels that produces some really interesting stuff and has managed to garner a cult following. If you are a fan of other American-based manufacturers like Monitaly, Engineered Garments or Battenwear there is plenty to like here.
Size is labeled a medium and fits a bit relaxed. I measure the chest at 21” / 54cm, shoulders at 20.5” / 52cm and length at 28” / 71cm. The shirt comes in lightly used, very good shape with no holes, tears or stains. Made in USA.
