For sale here is a shirt from Japan’s Snow Peak label. Snow Peak has a pretty long history in Japan, dating back to 1958, although they have expanded their presence abroad only recently. They are an outdoor specialty brand, producing all kinds of gear that one can use while camping, fishing or spending an extended period of time outdoors. In addition to things like tents, tables and tools, Snow Peak also produces a range of clothing similarly suited for outdoor use.
This is a graphic tee from Snow Peak’s 2024 fall-winter collection. Material is a 71% cotton, 29% polyester blend, where as you can see noted on the tags the polyester content is made from recycled plastic bottles. I believe Snow Peak is trying to position themselves on a level similar to outdoor labels like Patagonia, engaging in at least some level of ethical production and concern for the environment. The shirt has a graphic print on the front and back, and the fabric mix makes this one nicely resilient and suitable for year-round wear.
Size is labeled a large and fits more like a standard medium. I measure the chest at 20” / 51cm, shoulders at 17.5” / 44cm, length at 26” / 67cm and sleeves at 23” / 58cm. The shirt comes in brand new, unworn condition with original tags still attached.
