Up for sale here is a button down shirt from 45 rpm. This is classic in the best sense, with a nice plaid design that’s unobtrusive and can go with pretty much everything. At the same time, the tailoring and quality are excellent, something 45 rpm excels at.
This shirt comes in an excellent summer weight plaid knit. Interestingly, the fabric is a 98% cotton, 2% polyurethane blend. Normally you see polyurethane incorporated into pants to give them a bit of a stretch. You don’t typically find it in shirts, but it does provide an extra little bit of comfort and texture in this case. Details include shell buttons, the bottom button hole going horizontally rather than vertically, signature “R” logo embroidered on the chest pocket, and embroidered “Umii” tag on the neckline. 45 rpm never comes cheap, and these shirts retailed at about $250 in Japan and around $350-$400 abroad. Get it here much more reasonably.
Size is labeled a 4, equivalent to a large. I measure the chest at 22”, shoulders at 18”, length at 28” from the base of the neck, and sleeves at 25” from the shoulder. The shirt comes in lightly used, very good shape with no holes, tears or stains. Made in Japan.
