Bedwin and the Heartbreakers 21ss Wrangler collab 10L Enzo pants, size 1 (31”)

$39.99

For sale here is a collaboration piece from Japanese streetwear label Bedwin and the Heartbreakers and heritage workwear label Wrangler. Bedwin is one of the perhaps better known streetwear labels operating in Japan at the moment, although they don’t seem to have a huge level of distribution outside of Japan. That’s a bit unfortunate, as Bedwin are always ones to keep things interesting with subtle tweaks to otherwise classic design and with very high standards of quality. They remind me a bit of the Nonnative label in that way, although Bedwin arguably tend to incorporate more unique little details than Nonnative.

With this Wrangler collab Bedwin take their classic “odd Wrancher” and slim down the fit some. Fabric is listed as 88% polyester and 12% some other kind of polyester, meaning that I guess these are mainly polyester pants. Look and fit are definitely vintage-inspired but with a more modern straight leg, somewhat slim cut compared to the vintage pieces. Being a polyester fabric, the material is water resistant, hard-wearing, and done in a timeless design. Details follow the classic design pretty closely aside from the fit, with a zip fly, branded waistband, and Wrangler tags on the interior, as well as a Bedwin tag. Note also that these pants were made in Japan, which is a bit unusual for Wrangler pieces.

This particular collaboration was limited to Bedwin’s spring-summer 2021 collection and has not been revisited since. As far as I know these were only available in Japan as well, in a very limited capacity. Retail was about $200 in Japan.

Size is labeled a 1, fitting a 31” waist well in my opinion. I measure the waist at 31”, inseam at 25”, rise at 11.5” and leg opening at 7.75”. The pants come in lightly used, very good shape with no holes, tears, stains or visible signs of wear. Made in Japan.

Shipping from Japan to anywhere will be $28.
