Bedwin and the Heartbreakers Dickies collab 10L Thunders pants, size 2 (31”)

$39.99

For sale here is a piece from the long-running collaboration between Japanese streetwear label Bedwin and the Heartbreakers and heritage workwear label Dickies. Bedwin is one of the perhaps better known streetwear labels operating in Japan at the moment, although they don’t seem to have a huge level of distribution outside of Japan. That’s a bit unfortunate, as Bedwin are always ones to keep things interesting with subtle tweaks to otherwise classic design and with very high standards of quality. They remind me a bit of the Nonnative label in that way, although Bedwin arguably tend to incorporate more unique little details than Nonnative.

With the Dickies collab Bedwin take the classic 874 straight leg fit and rework it into something a bit different. Silhouette has been tweaked to be a bit more slim in the leg with an intentionally shorter inseam. Fabric is Dickies’ standard 65% polyester, 35% cotton blend, a standard workwear fabric that is nicely resilient yet also light in weight. In addition to Bedwin’s recut of the silhouette, they have added some details throughout, including a label tag on the left thigh, embroidered logo on the rear left pocket and a custom tag on the rear right pocket.

Overall this is a classic design, nicely tweaked to change it up a bit. These pants retail at about $200 in Japan, and as far as I know have no availability outside of Japan. Get it here at a fraction of the retail price.

Size is labeled a 2, fitting a 31” waist well in my opinion. I measure the waist at 31”, inseam at 27”, rise at 11.5” and leg opening at 7.5”. The pants show some general wear, including some general fading, most prominent at the knees.

Shipping from Japan to anywhere will be $30.
