Disaeran acronym Errolson Hugh polo shirt, size L

$34.99

For sale here is a shirt from the Disaeran brand, a relatively limited collaboration between Acronym designer Errolson Hugh and the United Arrows select shop in Japan. Hugh has designed for a pretty wide range of labels, including Acronym of course, but also Stone Island Shadow Project, Tilak, Herno Laminar and many more. The Disaeran label was limited to the Japanese market, and very much embodied Errolson’s ethos of highly functional design combined with very high quality fabrics.

In this case we have Hugh’s interpretation of the long sleeve polo, done as usual with some interesting detailing. Fabric is 100% Cotton done in a standard shirt weight. Collar and button placket are done in an off-white color, while the rest of the shirt is a solid black, with the exception of some gray blocks at the chest. Patterning is highly unique, where there are additional panels on the front and back, along with a gusseted side seams. That is, there are no actual side seams. Instead the panels act as the main seams, leaving the sides clean. This ensures a quality fit as well as a maximum range of unrestricted movement. Free movement and anatomic design have always been one of Hugh’s specialties, which we find once again here.

Other details include branded neck lining, custom tab at the bottom of the shirt, and the Disaeran neck tag. In the end, what we have here is a very rare piece done in a high quality material and with some interesting little details. Disaeran was pretty hard to find in Japan even when released (and was basically nonexistent abroad), and these have become even more scarce.

Size is labeled a large and fits true. I measure the chest at 21”, shoulders at 18”, length at 28” and sleeves at 25” from the shoulder. The shirt comes in lightly used, very good shape. There is a bit of fading of the logo stamp on the neckline, but otherwise no holes, tears or stains.

Shipping from Japan to anywhere will be $24.
