Japan Blue jeans Momotaro khaki loose fit Broolyn trousers, size 34

$44.99

For sale here is a pair of pants from the Japan Blue jeans label. Japan Blue is one of the lines manufactured by Rampuya, the same company that does the Momotaro label. Both labels are very strongly jeans and indigo oriented, producing exclusively in the Kojima area of Japan, although the Momotaro label is probably more widely known and releases a fuller range. Japan Blue focuses mostly on jeans and denim jackets, but the same high quality production standards are still very much there, as are the really detailed and unique fabrics.

These pants are called the “Brooklyn trousers”. They come in a light weight 100% cotton material, ideal for the warmer weather. Fit is what Japan Blue Jeans calls their “wide standard silhouette” – it is a somewhat loose, mostly straight leg fit. There is just a bit of taper below the knees, but really not much. The idea is to be comfortable here, rather than going for the overly tight look. Fit is designed to be as versatile as possible, matching with a large range of styles. Construction is one of Rampuya’s strong points in my opinion, where they always build their piece super tough. All seams use tough chain stitching, and these pants should be able to take a beating pretty well.

Size is labeled a 34 and fits true. I measure the waist 34”, inseam at 28”, rise at 11.5” and opening at the bottom of the leg at 8.5”. The pants come in lightly used, very good shape with no holes, tears or stains. Made in Japan.

Shipping from Japan to anywhere will be $30.
