For sale here is an interesting piece from the Jil Sander label. The Jil Sander brand is pretty synonymous with minimalism. Designs are always paired down to the bare essentials, but at the same time quality is never compromised. In fact, Jil Sander produce some of the best quality ready-to-wear clothing available in my opinion, hands down. Rather than superfluous design details, the emphasis is squarely on excellent fabrics and very refined tailoring. It can be subtle, but it is always sophisticated.
So here we’ve got is a rare graphic tee from Jil Sander. On first view this probably looks like an abstract or geometric print, but it is actually the Jil Sander logo repeated in several different directions. Quality is as excellent as you would expect, where this shirt comes in a somewhat stretchy high-grade cotton. Material is listed as 100% cotton, although this is a very light weight fabric with a fair amount of stretch to it. Design is minimalist as you would expect, but the tailoring is absolutely spot-on. Quality is never compromised by Jil Sander with this shirt being no exception. It is understated as always, but the print combined with the tailoring set this one apart.
Size is labeled a small and fits true. There is some stretch to the fabric, but unstretched I measure the chest at 18”, shoulders at 16”, and length at 25”. The shirt comes lightly used, excellent shape with no holes, tears, stains or visible signs of wear.
