Kazuyuki Kumagai Attachment cotton shirt, size 2 (S/M)

$39.99

Long sleeve shirt by Kazuyuki Kumagai Attachment for sale here. The Kazuyuki Kumagai line, not to be confused with the Attachment label itself, is the collection line for Attachment. It’s basically their higher-end products, the stuff the designer puts his name on, what you see in the lookbooks and that sort of thing. The Kazuyuki Kumagai label differentiates itself with an emphasis on technical detailing, both in the selection of textiles and in the fit. Materials are often high quality knits, and detailing is highly articulated.

In this case we have a standard weight shirt, done in a 100% cotton knit. Color is a gray, making for a timeless piece with just the right bit of a tweak in the design. A nice gray tee with go with pretty much everything, and Kazuyuki Kumagai is not a label to disappoint.

Being Kazuyuki Kumagai, the pattern is very interesting here. Fit is fairly slim in the body, with some anatomic details incorporated. These details include KKA’s signature center back seam and curving shoulder seam. This allows for a greater range of uninhibited movement. The hem is split at the sides as well, with the rear slightly longer than the front, and there are ribbed cuffs.

Size is labeled a 2 and fits between a medium and a small, depending on how you like your shirts to fit. I measure the chest at 19”, shoulders at 17”, length at 26” in front and 27” in back, both from the base of the neck, and sleeves at 24” from the shoulder. The shirt comes in lightly used, very good shape with no holes, tears, stains or obvious signs of wear. Made in Japan.

Shipping from Japan to anywhere will be $24.
