Neighborhood Japan 2019aw classic p/c shirt, size S (fits M)

$39.99

Up for sale here is a shirt from Neighborhood, one of the longer-running Japanese streetwear labels. Neighborhood is the parent label of the somewhat more cultish Wtaps, although both hold very high standards for quality and production. To me, Neighborhood tends to gravitate more toward vintage workwear and biker gear for inspiration, where Wtaps is often more military or even ivy league sometimes.

In this case we have a shirt from Neighborhood’s fall-winter 2019 collection, called the “class p/c crew.ls”. This is Neighborhood’s take on the classic long sleeve tee, done here in a 100% cotton knit in a standard shirt weight. Neighborhood (and Wtaps too) are all about adding in just the right amount of detail to keep things fresh. While we do have a classic tee silhouette here, Neighborhood incorporate a number of other details as well. Chest pocket has a small “the way life goes” logo in the corner. There is a brand tab on the bottom right side of the shirt, as well as a branded tag on the left side. Left sleeve has some additional subtle writing in orange. Shoulder seam is also in orange, which you can see from the back. Construction is solid throughout, where like most Neighborhood pieces this is a tough piece of workwear, made to take a beating, and will only look better with age.

Size is labeled a small and fits loose, more like a standard medium. I measure the chest at 20”, shoulders at 18”, length at 27.5” from the base of the neck and sleeves at 25” from the shoulder. The shirt comes in lightly used, very good shape with no holes, tears or stains. Made in Japan.

Shipping from Japan to anywhere will be $24.
