For sale here is a shirt from Undercover, one of really the best labels going at the moment in Japan or pretty much anywhere. Undercover have been able to successfully meld a strong musical influence, graphic sensibility and more typical design and tailoring into something completely unique. They produce some very high quality garments across a pretty broad spectrum. If you’re looking for graphic prints, crazy patterns, or even something a bit more subdued, Undercover can provide it and it’ll be one of the best you’ve experienced.
In this case we have a t-shirt from their more graphic range. I’m not sure exactly which season this one comes from, as they don’t mark them on their t-shirts, although this is from one of their more recent collections. As always, the print here is cool. Design is a large question mark, done with a number of pictures of busts making up the shape, as well as a subtle logo at the bottom of the shirt.
Shirt is a solid black, using what looks like a very high quality printing process. As always with Undercover, these shirts were produced in very limited quantities and are now long gone. Retail on their graphic tees is usually around $150, although you can get it here much more reasonably.
Size is labeled a 2, fitting between a small and a medium, like a somewhat slim medium or a somewhat loose small. I measure the chest at 18”, shoulders at 17” and length at 26”. The shirt comes in used but good shape with no holes, tears or stains. Made in Japan.
