Warehouse Jeans dubbleworks cotton striped shirt, size M

$34.99

For sale here is a shirt from Warehouse’s dubbleworks line, one of the family of sub-labels run by the Warehouse people. Sort of like Toyo Enterprise (which runs Sugar Cane, Buzz Rickson, Sun Surf and many others), the Warehouse brand has a family of labels, all of them high quality and all of them vintage-inspired. These include the eponymous brand, Copper King, Heller’s Cafe, and the duck digger label among others.

With this shirt you get the typical quality and attention to detail that the Warehouse label is known for. Silhouette is based on the classic Americana-style button down shirt. This is the sort of thing you can see in the “ivy” style, which is a pretty big thing in Japan. Warehouse actually specializes in vintage reproduction, making the highest quality garments they can but highly informed by vintage design.
This shirt fits squarely in the vintage repro canon, where it could just as easily be coming from the 1960s. Fit and design are pretty straightforward. It is a timeless style, in a 100% cotton knit that’s pretty light in weight. Retail on these shirts is about $200 in Japan. Get it here much more reasonably.

Size is labeled a medium and fits true. I measure the chest at 21”, shoulders at 18”, length at 29” and sleeves at 24” from the shoulder. The shirt comes in lightly used, excellent shape with no holes, tears, stains or visible signs of wear. Made in Japan.

Shipping from Japan to anywhere will be $24.
