Up for sale here is a sweater from the Bedwin & the Heartbreakers label, one of the perhaps better known streetwear labels operating in Japan at the moment, although they don’t seem to have a huge level of distribution outside of Japan. That’s a bit unfortunate, as Bedwin are always ones to keep things interesting with subtle tweaks to otherwise classic design and with very high standards of quality. They remind me a bit of the Nonnative label in that way, although Bedwin arguably tend to incorporate more unique little details than Nonnative.
So in this case we have a medium-light weight blue hooded sweater, Bedwin’s take on the classic hoody design. This one is arguably in the higher tier of hoodies, where the quality is really excellent. Details are pretty classic, but there are a few little tweaks. Front has a double zip closure, black drawstring on the hood, small tag on the front, reinforced elbows, and logo stamped on the front. Neck tag has an additional “now’s the time” tag. For a while Bedwin was including these tags as musical references for their collections. This tag is a reference to the Charlie Parker song which seemingly inspired the collection.
Size is labeled a 4 and fits like a standard medium in my opinion. I measure the chest at 20” / 52cm, shoulders at approx. 18” / 48cm (they’re raglan and hard to get exact), length at 27.5” / 70cm and sleeves at approx. 24” / 62cm from the shoulder. The sweater comes in lightly used, very good shape with no holes, tears or stains. Made in Japan.
Shipping from Japan to anywhere will be $26.
