For sale here is a pair of pants from the Bru Na Boinne label operating out of Japan. Bru Na Boinne is another one of those smaller Japanese labels with limited international distribution. They specialize in high quality, vintage inspired design, differentiating themselves with a relaxed aesthetic and often incorporating a healthy dose of indigo.
As is often the case with Bru na Boinne, we have an interesting take on a classic wardrobe staple here. This is a classic 5 pocket pair of indigo dyed denim jeans. They have been vintage processed, made to look nicely worn in. Fabric is 100% cotton in a standard jeans weight, around 10 to 12oz and good for year-round wear. Fit is slim-straight, not skin tight but definitely not super loose either. Details include a button fly with metal buttons, embroidered ladybug near the rear right pocket and ladybug motif on the pockets.
Size is labeled a 0, fitting a 30” waist. I measure the waist at 30” / 78cm, inseam at 26.5” / 67cm, rise at 10.5” / 26cm and leg opening at 7” / 16cm. The pants come in lightly used, generally good shape. Just one issue to note: there is a small abrasion on the left knee – not a hole but you can see the white threads. Otherwise no holes, tears or stains. Made in Japan.
