Available here is a lightweight shirt from Japanese label Mister Hollywood. The Mister Hollywood label is yet another of those willfully small Japanese brands producing very unique and extremely high quality clothing. They’ve been going since 2002, gaining a strong cult following in Japan and some notoriety abroad, although they’re still pretty under the radar outside of Japan. However, in Japan they’re sold alongside the other notable streetwear/fashion labels like Undercover, Soph, Kolor, Junya Watanabe and the like.
As usual with these brands, quality is key. This definitely holds up to just about any high fashion brand you would want to name. Material is a soft, lightweight cotton. This is a gauzy knit, nicely textured, light in weight and cool to the touch. Fit is slim as you might expect from a Japanese brand, but not restricting. The twist here comes with the incorporation of several different colors in the shirt. Front and back are two different colors, while sleeves are another shade of gray. It is a unique take on the classic tee, something you will not find elsewhere.
Size is labeled a 38 and fits like a standard small in this case. I measure the chest at 18.5”, shoulders at 17”, and length at 26”. The shirt comes in lightly used, very good shape with no holes, tears or stains. Made in Japan.
