Real McCoys 8 hour union work shirt, size 15 (M)

$44.99 Sold out

Up for sale here is another nice, classic piece from the Real McCoys label. The Real McCoys are one of the best, if not the best, repro labels out there. Buzz Rickson maybe runs a somewhat close #2, but no one else is able to get the combination of quality, detailing and of course fit that the Real McCoys do. Quality is often much better than the originals, although the designs are timeless.

The Real McCoys run a number of sub-labels, all with different focuses. The main line tends to go for military wear, Double Diamond for pre-war vintage pieces, Ballpark for sportswear and Joe McCoy in many cases for western-style clothing. 8 Hour Union tends to focus on vintage workwear, usually from around the 1940s-60s. That what we’ve got here: a vintage style button down shirt. As usual with Real McCoys, quality is in no way compromised. Material is a navy knit cotton. It appears to be an overdye given the pleasantly uneven dye of the fabric. Details include high quality double and triple needle construction throughout, selvedge side gussets, tonal buttons through and vintage style union made tag on the interior. Retail in Japan on these shirts is about $250. Get it here much more reasonably.

Size is labeled a 15, equivalent to a medium (15 inch neck). I measure the chest at 20” / 50cm, shoulders at 17” / 43cm, length at 27.5” / 70cm from the base of the neck, and sleeves at 24.5” / 61cm from the shoulder. The shirt comes in lightly used, very good shape with no holes, tears or stains. Made in Japan.

Shipping from Japan to anywhere will be $24.
