Sage de Cret multifabric polo shirt, made in Japan, size M (fits S)

$29.99

Up for sale here is a polo shirt from Japanese label Sage de Cret. Sage de Cret have been around since 2001, although they are one of those more cultish labels that produces in small quantities with limited international distribution. With Sage de Cret the emphasis is mainly on reimagining classic military wear. Think of a lot of khakis, military greens and military silhouettes and you get the general idea, although these are not straight reproductions.

This is a fairly unique piece from Sage de Cret in that they are not looking to any obvious military inspirations. Instead, we have a polo shirt silhouette with most of the body coming in a gray 95% cotton, 5% polyurethane blend. Fabric has a fair amount of stretch to it, insuring a slim yet comfortable fit. The sides incorporate a completely different striped fabric, creating a nice contrast and a pretty unique look. Sleeve length is a bit longer than usual as well, coming to about elbow length.

If you are looking for something that is a bit subtle in its appeal yet still interesting this is a good piece for you. Sage de Cret always produces in limited quantities and this shirt is now long gone. Retail was about $120 in Japan and more abroad if you could find it. Get it here at the cheapest price around.

Size is labeled a medium and fits more like a standard small. I measure the chest at 18” / 46cm, shoulders at 16” / 40cm and length at 24” / 63cm from the base of the neck. The shirt comes in lightly used, very good shape with no holes, teras or stains. Made in Japan.

Shipping from Japan to anywhere will be $24.
