Available here is a pair of pants from Visvim, this one from their fall-winter 2011 season. It’s a mid-weight fabric, built to the usual super high standard of quality Visvim is known for.
The main fabric here is an extra long staple high quality cotton twill material. There’s a very nice texture to the fabric, indicative of both the high quality material and the excellent weave used here. Silhouette is fairly slim, coming in a standard length, non- high water style fit. Visvim has been producing more relaxed silhouettes more recently, so if you are into their slimmer fits, this is a very good piece in one of their classic designs.
Details include metal button fly buttons, partial interior lining in a white cotton, a rear cinch back to adjust the fit and a coin pocket. Visvim never comes cheap at retail, where they use some of the highest quality materials and detailing they can. All materials are custom and you can be sure they put the utmost care and detail into their clothing. Current Visvim pricing is into the stratosphere but get it here in very good shape at a much more reasonable price.
Size is labeled a 2. I measure the waist at 32” / 43cm, inseam at 29” / 74cm, rise at 10” / 27cm and leg opening at 7.5” / 19cm. The pants come in lightly used, very good shape with no holes, tears, stains or visible signs of wear. Note that the Visvim bag and tags are not included with this sale. Made in Japan.
