Wooyoungmi cotton polo shirt, made in Korea, size 48 (M)

$34.99

Up for sale here is a polo from Wooyoungmi, one of the first South Korean designers to show internationally. Like many of the top labels out there, Wooyoungmi makes no compromises in terms of design or quality. You can be sure any of her pieces will be extremely well made and always with some unique design to it.

The Wooyoungmi label has actually been going since 2002, although they have become more popular in recent years. They’re one of those labels that is much more apt to let their clothes do the talking rather than relying on heavy advertising or anything like that.

In this case we have an excellent quality polo shirt. Material is 100% cotton, done in a luxe execution. The main body comes in navy, while the button placket and collar exterior are in black. The interior part of the collar and neckline are in a nicely contrasting ivory. Collar construction is also pretty unique, where it is actually sort of folded into itself creating the black and white contrast that you see. It is a subtle detail but one of those things that helps to set this shirt apart.

Wooyoungmi can be pretty hard to track down outside of Asia, although she does enjoy a pretty strong cult following. Retail on polos is around $300. Get it here much more reasonably.

Size is labeled a 48 and fits true. I measure the chest at 20”, shoulders at 17” and length at 25” in front and 26” in back. The shirt comes in lightly used, very good shape with no holes, tears, stains or visible signs of wear. Made in Korea.

Shipping from Japan to anywhere will be $24.
