Up for sale here is a t-shirt from 45 rpm. 45 rpm is perhaps best known for their high quality materials, attention to detail, and their indigo products. Production is always in small batches, and their pieces are only available direct from their shops. This shirt is a great example of what 45 rpm is capable of, coming in an excellent light weight cotton.
If 45 rpm is anything, they are very crazy about the materials they use and how they’re made. The material here is a pleasantly uneven cotton knit. It has a fair amount more texture than your standard cotton tee but remains light in weight, making it an ideal warm weather piece. Design is pretty timeless but also has a bunch of the little details 45 rpm likes to incorporate. Front is a pretty solid design with a shallow v-neck detail. Logo is stamped into the neckline. On the bottom-left of the shirt is an embroidered “R” logo in dark blue, above a tag with a Japanese flag logo. Normally the tag is white with the red circle to depict the flag, although in this case the white tag has also been dyed red, likely a part of the dyeing process for the shirt. Interior has care instructions printed in Japanese, and there is an additional size tag on the interior.
Size is labeled a 3 and fits a standard medium well. I measure the chest at 20”, shoulders at 18”, and length at 26.5”. The shirt comes in lightly used, very good condition with no holes, tears or stains. Made in Japan.
