And Wander issey miyake cotton/poly jeans with attachment, size 3 (33”)

$59.99

For sale here is a pair of pants from the And Wander label. And Wander is a somewhat newer Japanese brand, founded in 2011 by Keita Ikeguchi and Mihoko Mori, both of whom previously worked for Issey Miyake. Like Miyake, And Wander places a strong emphasis on unique textiles and a streamlined, futuristic design. Where they are a bit different is that they take this conceptual approach to a more outdoors-focused collection and aesthetic.

These pants come from the 2016 fall-winter collection in a 60% cotton / 40% polyester blend. The polyester is the branded coolmax fabric, developed for its strong moisture-wicking and cooling ability. Material has a sort of jeans look and dye to it, although I suppose it is somewhat of a hybrid given the poly content. Silhouette is somewhat slim but has a reasonable stretch, ensuring a comfortable fit. One of the more interesting details here is the incorporation of a clip-on branded side pouch. The pouch has a reflective logo, comes in the same fabric, and can be clipped on using branded carabiners also included.

Other details include zip fly, branded waistband button, map print pockets, and rivet reinforcements on the pouch pockets. Retail was about $300 in Japan and would have run quite a bit more abroad if you could find it. This model is now completely sold out but get it here at a fraction of the retail price.

Size is labeled a 3, fitting a 32 to 33 inch waist well. I measure the waist at 33” / 85cm, inseam at 27” / 69cm, rise at 9.5” / 25cm and leg opening at 7” / 18cm. The pants come in lightly used, very good shape. There is some very minor wear and no holes, tears or stains. Made in Japan.

Shipping from Japan to anywhere will be $30.
