Up for sale here is a shirt from the Bedwin & the Heartbreakers label, one of the perhaps better known streetwear labels operating in Japan at the moment, although they don’t seem to have a huge level of distribution outside of Japan. That’s a bit unfortunate, as Bedwin are always ones to keep things interesting with subtle tweaks to otherwise classic design and with very high standards of quality. They remind me a bit of the Nonnative label in that way, although Bedwin arguably tend to incorporate more unique little details than Nonnative.
So in this case we have a knit cotton flannel in plaid, the kind of timeless piece that you can wear pretty much anywhere, any time, and will go with basically everything. Design seems to be pretty classic, although there are a number of nice little details. Fabric is 100% cotton, in a medium weight brushed flannel, the sort of thing perfect for layering in the colder months and nicely resilient on its own. The shirt has an open neck detail and flat hem, where it can be worn both tucked and untucked. Includes stamped logo on the neckline, a tag on the bottom of the exterior, another tag on the interior button placket an another still on the side of the interior. Original tag is also included, noting that this shirt is from the 2012aw collection. Needless to say, these pieces are not easy to come by at all, and this shirt stands above a lot of similar pieces I have encountered.
Size is labeled a 2 and fits like a somewhat slim medium in my opinion where it can also work for a small. I measure the chest at 19” / 48cm, shoulders at 16.5” / 42cm, length at 27” / 67cm, and sleeves at 25” / 63cm from the shoulder. The shirt comes in lightly used, excellent shape with no holes, tears, stains or obvious signs of wear. Made in Japan.
Shipping from Japan to anywhere will be $24.
