For sale here is a shirt from the Go Hemp label. Go Hemp has a pretty long history of clothing manufacturing, dating back to 1994. As their name implies, they are a hemp specialist label, usually incorporating some aspect of hemp into their clothing. Their aesthetic is the in the vintage-inspired, Americana ballpark, often incorporating their own unique details.
This shirt is a good illustration of Go Hemp’s design and ethos. It is a medium weight knit cotton plaid shirt. There is no collar here, where the neckline is something similar to what you have with a cardigan, allowing this to work very well as an over shirt. Cuffs and chest pocket are a 75% cotton / 25% hemp blend and indigo dyed, making for a nice contrast. The flat hem also accommodates wearing the shirt both tucked and untucked.
Go Hemp is yet another one of those Japanese labels with a strong cult following, but despite their comparatively long history they have no international distribution to speak of. Get a rare piece here at the cheapest price around.
