For sale here is a collaboration piece from Junya Watanabe / Comme Des Garcons and French label Laboureur. Comme des Garcons is an institution in Japan. They are one of the original avant-garde Japanese designers, starting in the 1970s and still active today. Junya Watanabe is one of the many CDG sub labels and arguably one of the most famous, often mixing a patchwork approach with avant garde and Americana influences.
What we have here is Laboureur’s classic cotton twill chore jacket. Laboureur is a French heritage label and this is a classic piece of French work wear. Front has three pockets, along with an interior chest pocket with a very intricate Laboureur tag. The twist in this case comes with an “Amsterdam tulip museum” logo silkscreened on the front. Rear also has an extra fabric pull, making it easier to hang up the jacket. Interior also has the Junya Watanabe tag in addition to the Laboureur tag.
These kinds of collaborative pieces are always made in very limited quantities, and come quite a bit more expensive than standard Laboureur jackets on their own. This particular model comes from 2019 and is now completely sold out. Get it here at a fraction of the retail price.
Size is labeled a medium and fits true. I measure the chest at 20.5” / 52cm, shoulders at 17” / 44cm, length at 28.5” / 73cm from the base of the neck and sleeves at 24.5” / 62cm from the shoulder. The jacket comes in lightly used, very good shape with no holes, tears or stains. Made in France.
