Post Overalls indigo selvedge jeans, made in USA, size L (fits 32)

$59.99

Available here is a pair of pants from Post Overalls. Post Overalls is one of the longer-running Japanese-American hybrid brands. That is, Post Overalls has a Japanese designer, Tsuyoshi Obuchi, but are based in the United States and mainly produce their clothing in the US (and also sometimes Japan). There are increasingly more such labels, including engineered garments, yuketen, and battenwear, to name a few. Inspiration is firmly in classic Americana and vintage work, sports and military wear, done in their own particular aesthetic.

This is Post Overalls’ take on classic indigo dyed jeans. Material is 100% cotton in a medium weight, around 10 to 12 oz, pleasantly faded and broken in. It is a straight leg silhouette, but with some pretty interesting details. Selvedge line is visible on the interior legs, as well as the coin pocket interior and one side of the fly interior. The other side uses a plaid piping fabric, while each pocket uses a different bandana-style fabric. There is also a zip fly, custom metal waistband button, pocket rivets, and chain seamed hems.

Post Overalls is one of those labels that gives a great amount of consideration to all aspects of their clothing, manufacturing at a very high level of quality and making some vintage inspired yet totally unique designs. This model is now sold out, but get it here at a fraction of the retail price.

Size is labeled a large and fits a 32” waist. I measure the waist at 32” / 84cm, inseam at 30.5” / 78cm, rise at 10.5” / 26m and leg opening at 7.5” / 19cm. The pants come in lightly used, good shape. There is some minor wear and fading throughout, but no holes, tears or stains. Made in the USA.

Shipping from Japan to anywhere will be $30.
